• Pre-staging Requirements: Laptops needed to be configured, tested, and ready for use upon arrival.

• Secure Recovery and Wipe: Legacy laptops had to be recovered, wiped, and reused where possible — with full data security.

• Break-fix Support: Ongoing support for devices, including software reloads and fast resolution of issues, was essential.

• Process Efficiency: A streamlined system was required to ensure device availability while maintaining stock control and deployment speed.

The Partnership

WMA is an established hardware and service provider delivering EPOS and IT solutions, including hardware supply, scale verification, maintenance, installation, and power and data services. With a national customer base and a growing estate of laptops, WMA needed a trusted partner to manage the rollout of new devices and support existing ones through secure recovery, pre-staging, and break-fix services.
