Over 60% of IT and Telecom businesses are currently or planning to repair or refurbish their equipment in the next 12 months.

That’s according to IT and Telecoms engineering channel-only specialist, Tesora Technology Services who undertook a comprehensive survey: Digital Britain, which launched at Connected Britain 2025.

Designed to canvass opinion leaders and experts across the industry sectors over the two days; 60.9% confirmed an inherent appetite to adopt a more sustainable approach to their in-house product lifecycle by opting for repair and/or refurbishment vs new.

Said Tesora MD, Rob Cunnane “the survey aimed to understand attitudes towards the future direction of IT and Telecoms sectors, being committed to delivering the best service for our customers’ we felt this would be the best way to understand this. We understand there are so many pressures on businesses right now with high cost burdens coupled with budgetary constraints means resources have to go further.
